On the Consistency of a GeneralMultipurpose Decision Making

A fuzzy multipurpose decision making problem, where the information about the alternatives provided by the experts can be presented by means of diierent preference representation structures, is studied. Assuming that the information can be represented by means of preference orderings, utility functions and fuzzy preference relations, a general multipurpose decision making model is managed to cover the diierent representation structures 4]. We analyze the consistency of this model to prove that it acts coherently. We study the goodness of the transformation functions between diierent representation structures and fuzzy preference relations. It is shown that the transformation functions do not disturbe the ranking among the alternatives established by the diierent representation structures, when we use the dominance and non dominance degrees proposed in the decision model.
